|
A day-long conference in Boston on February 28 2004 looked at the range of issues involved in voting technology and election transparency. Sponsored by ACLU-MA, LWV-MA, the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law of the Boston Bar Association, Suffolk University Law School and others, the conference was attended by over 100 Massachusetts participants from the legal and policy community, officials responsible for the election process, and the technology community. We hope mutual education and exchange of views will lead to greater understanding of this complex issue, and to a common purpose of voting transparency and voter confidence.
